  • In 2023, the brand expanded with the opening of Ashabyadamas shop at Tribeca Mall, Ebene, a new retail brand focusing on offering more accessible-priced branded and unbranded jewelry, watches, and accessories.
Family Background

The Denton Family, the present proprietor, possesses a wealth of experience and deep engagement in the diamond cutting and jewelry industry. The Denton family’s enduring connection to the diamond cutting trade can be traced back to the mid-1800s in Belgium, where multiple generations actively participated in all facets of the diamond industry.

In the early 1920s, Mr. Stephen P. Denton’s grandfather, accompanied by his family of skilled diamond polishers, emigrated to South Africa and established the renowned Goldstein Cutting Works—an esteemed diamond cutting enterprise that held a prominent position in South Africa for nearly six decades.
